Pre-Conversion Services

Conversion Services

ModernMed provides services during your conversion:
In the office we help with:

• Organizing the patient panel, including transitioning current patients, recruiting new patients and providing referrals for current patients who choose not to join the new practice
• Providing patient contracts prepared by ModernMed legal counsel
• Training and educating patients, staff and physicians in all aspects of the new practice
• Performing a baseline practice safety assessment to use as a tool to help with future safety standard compliance
• Setting up the new practice billing system
• Discussing legal compliance issues
• Helping with implementation of an electronic medical record, practice management systems and patient portal

Outside the office we help with:

• Developing and host your individual, custom practice website
• Coordinating lab and radiology services as necessary
• Coordinating transcription services as necessary

Post-Conversion Services

ModernMed provides support after you convert your practice:
In the office we help with:

• Providing continuous panel management including new patient recruitment and new patient orientation
• Providing electronic medical record and practice management system maintenance services
• Facilitating transcription services
• Providing billing services
• Providing continuing education

Outside the office we help with:

• Providing a ModernMed Physician Advocate, who serves as your dedicated customer service representative for the life of your practice
