About the Practice

INTRODUCTION
John M. Boden was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee and moved to Destin, Florida in 2006 where he lives with his wife. Dr. Boden worked as a Hospitalist at North Okaloosa Medical Center for two years. Most recently, Dr. Boden served as a Hospitalist and as a Primary Care physician at 21st Century Oncology. In 2008, Dr. Boden decided to change his practice and develop a more intimate experience focusing on wellness and the patient experience.

Dr.Boden’s practice will alter the way care is delivered by focusing on the patient and prevention. Dr. Boden received his undergraduate degree and Masters of Science from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee. After receiving his medical degree in 2000, Dr. Boden completed his internal medicine residency at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina in tandem with their family practice residency program. Dr. Boden’s current affiliations include the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians. He has staff privileges at North Okaloosa Medical Center in Crestview, Florida and Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Florida.

Dr. Boden believes that medicine is more than just diagnosing and treating diseases, it is the highest form of caring for a person. If you are caring for a person you are not only finding and treating the cause of acute illnesses, but preventing future issues by developing and monitoring wellness programs specifically designed for each individual. Dr. Boden values building relationships with his patients and following them throughout the course of their adult life. Dr. Boden’s new practice allows him to see patients in his office, to make house calls and in the hospital.

In his spare time, Dr. Boden enjoys swimming, fishing and boating. He has a strong affection for the Caribbean where you can find him enjoying his true passion, scuba diving.
